Hello,
we are using latest version of Joomla 5.5.1 in combination with several well known components like EasyBlog and EasySocial from Stackideas.
We are using the Joomla embedded Smart Search functionality and have created a menu item on our main menu.
On Smart Search we have created two filters:
"Events" -> associated with EasySocial Events selected from the list
"Artikel" -> associated with EasyBlog selected from the list
When we navigate to Search on our homepage and then enter a word that definitely exists in Events as well as in EasyBlog, the search says: Nothing found.
When we use the extended search (smart search) there is option to select from list 'Search based on type' and we can see the options as follows:
-Articles
-contacts
-EasyBlog Entries
-EasySocial Events
-EasySocialGroups
-EasySocial Photos
-EasySocial Users
-Product
-All
But where are our filters listed which we have created in Smart Search component in backend ?
And doesn't matter whether we are searching based on EasyBlog Entries or EasySocial events - or even ALL.
There are no results found based on words that do exist.
If we use a word like 'Impressum' then the search is coming back with results ....but only with type 'article' (standard Joomla article).
So it seems that the search only works with Joomla articles !
